Here's the chicken this morning (Saturday), before I cooked it in the Crock-Pot:
I made a bed of celery for it to sit on. I will let you know if that helped the chicken brown and the skin get cripsy.
To make this chicken, I removed the giblets, wiped it dry with paper towels, rubbed olive oil all over, and seasoned with Pop's Seasoning (homemade mix from my good friend's Dad). It is going to cook on low for 5 hours.
