A Bunch of Little Things and a Big One

Hello Dear Readers!

I have been serving my civic duty by being a juror for the past two weeks. Shockingly, it took more mental energy than I anticipated, hence the lack of posts here on the ole blog.

I served as an alternate juror and learned a lot about our legal system. I'm glad the court precedings are over!

Here's what I've been up to:

I made a maxi skirt with my sisters. Let me correct that last sentence, Heather primarily made the skirts. Heidi and I enjoyed the fruits of her labor! However, I have now learned how to make the skirt on my own and have almost finished another one. (posts about the skirts to be appearing shortly)

We had a small gender reveal party for my sister Heidi and her husband Caleb. Heather made this adorable sign and set the table with pink/blue utensils.

I actually made something from Pinterest for the party: a scrap fabric banner/garland!

The baby is due the beginning of December and and I'm going to be the aunt of a tiny cute baby...GIRL! YIPPEE! Anthony and I are super excited for Heidi and Caleb. They are going to be great parents.

(They're scooping pink ice cream and saying, it's a girl! I love the expression on Heidi's face)

We went down to San Francisco again last week and got to attend another food truck meet up. Anthony's posting all about that day on his blog.

The next day, Josh and Jodi and their little boys drove up to our house and we went to yet another food truck meet up with them! We were happy to show them our city. And of course, since there isn't one in the Bay Area, we went to Chick-fil-A with them too.

Anthony went to the farmer's market with a few friends and came home with a surprise for me.

Aren't they beautiful?

The last thing I'm delighted about is that we leave for a trip to Vancouver next week! I am looking forward to relaxing and going out of the United States for the first time with Anthony.

How have you been? What have you been up to lately?
