Blue Bottle Coffee, Oakland

Last Friday, Malisa and I drove to the Bay, again. I don't know why we seem to be drawn there lately but we don't mind one bit. The only plan we had was to visit the Blue Bottle Coffee location on Webster Street in Oakland.

When we arrived we loaded a meter down the street, not realizing there was free front-row parking near the entrance. We got up to the bar and I ordered my usual, a soy latte. Malisa asked for the espresso con panna (espresso with whipped cream). She ordered this drink at the Mint Plaza location, and apparently that's the only Blue Bottle location that offers it. Good to know. She ended up ordering a macchiatto. We also got a snickerdoodle (wrapped in a cone filter) to eat later.

We sat outside in the amazing Bay Area weather and enjoyed our coffee. Not a bad way to spend the afternoon.

After our coffee, we headed into the city so I could try on some Warby Parker glasses at The Perish Trust. I ordered a pair when I got home that night!

Later in the evening we went to the Off the Grid food truck event at Fort Mason. SO GOOD!

Thanks Blue Bottle for helping us start our day off right!

Here are some photos from our visit.
