When we were planning our trip to NYC, a visit to Stumptown Coffee was definitely on the list. When we visited Portland last year we didn't get a chance to try a cup from Stumptown, I wasn't going to let that happen again.
This location is inside the Ace Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. It was incredibly busy when we visited and took a while to get through the line but the coffee was worth every minute. My cup was gone in about a minute, I was going to get a refill but my patience wouldn't allow me to stand in the line again.
One thing that stood out to me in coffee shops in NYC was the employees all wore hats. I imagine its part of the city or state health code but that's definitely something we don't do in California that I've seen. I must mention they weren't wearing ball caps, they all looked good, fedoras and such, I don't know the names of the other hats.
Apparently I also caught the "secret window" looking out to the tip of the Empire State Building so I had to include a shot of it.
Here are a few pictures from our visit, enjoy!
