Prince of Peace

Everywhere you go, people are looking for one thing: peace. It doesn't matter if the person is an atheist, Buddist, Miss America, or a Christian, it's something our hearts long for.

I've been thinking a lot about this word lately. And more importantly I've been thinking about Jesus.

I take the Bible literally. I believe the world was created by God in 6 days. I believe God spoke to people and told them things that would happen in the future. So, when a prophet named Isaiah said:

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - Isaiah 9:6

It's a message I can't help but share. Because this message brings comfort, security, freedom, and best of all rest for my tired mind and heart. And if it does that for me, I know it can do that for you.

I've shared this video on Twitter, but today I want to share it here. It's 7 minutes long. I know that's more than we're used to watching online. Do yourself a favor, watch it. And when you get to the part about the presence of God being here, it means where you are too.
