Finger-lickin' Ribs!

This past weekend, while we we were in Huntington Beach, I made two racks of pork ribs for about 15 people. I’d like to share the recipe and method I used to cook these ribs, as it's very easy and everyone loved them!


  • Favorite pork rub (I used a mixture of cumin, chili powder, cinnamon, salt, & pepper)
  • Oil
  • Ribs (I used 9 pounds)
  • Favorite BBQ sauce (Trader Joe's has our favorite)


Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Line baking sheets with foil for easy clean-up. Generously apply the dry rub mixture on both sides of the ribs. Our ribs were flat, so Anthony & I made small bricks out of foil to elevate the underside of the ribs. This allows the ribs to cook evenly on both sides without sitting flat on the pan. Add a little oil to the top of the ribs. Cook the ribs curved side down for about 2 hours.

Slice and serve with your favorite bbq sauce. Bibs may be required due to the messiness of the ribs and sauce. Enjoy!
